Trip Overview

Tsum Valley Trek is one of the famous and demanding trekking destinations in Manaslu region. This trek is especially famous for its magnificent views of the Himalayas and a wide variety of flora and fauna along with the opportunity to explore the unique lifestyle and culture of people living in the Himalayas. This is a newly opened trek and takes the trekkers through the unique and dramatic landscapes, historical Sherpa settlements and different tropical grasslands. One of the major attractions of this trek is the unique and ancient Tibetan culture followed by people living in this region as this region lies near to the Nepal-Tibet border.

Tsum Valley trek offers the spectacular panoramic views of mountain ranges including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Himchuli, Ganesh Himal, Buddha Himal, The 8^th highest peak of the world; Manaslu and many other beautiful mountains. One can get an opportunity to explore the wilderness, tropical vegetation and grasslands of this region. Another major attraction of this trek is Tatopani which has a belief that the bath at this hot spring is a cure to the sensitive joint aches of the human body. This region is also the home of the supernatural snowman “Yeti” and if you are lucky enough you may find one too.

Tsum valley trek starts with a drive to Arughat Bazar from the capital city, Kathmandu. We will then start our trek and trek along the Budhi Gandaki river and pass the ancient and historical villages which will take us to Khorlabeshi. We will then go to Barpak and Larpak crossing the Single-pass. After that, we will climb up to reach Mu Gumpa which is the highest point of our trek. We will then trek ahead to reach the ancient Tsum valley which gives us an opportunity to explore the ancient Tibetan lifestyle and culture. • Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu transfer to the hotel and free day.
• Day 2: Full day guided Kathmandu valley tour with tour guide and jeep.
• Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Arughat.
• Day 4: Trek to Lobubeshi.
• Day 5: Trek to Khorla beshi.
• Day 6: Trek to Jagat.
• Day 7: Trek to Lokpa 2240m.
• Day 8: Trek to Chhokangparo 3030 m.
• Day 9: Trek to Nile 3360m.
• Day 10: Trek to Mu Gompa 3700m.
• Day 11:Trek to Gumba Langdung 3200m.
• Day 12: Hike to Ganesh Himal Base Camp 4500m.
• Day 13: Trek back to Lokpa.
• Day 14: Trek back to Dovan.
• Day 15: Trek to Soti khola.
• Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu transfer to the Hotel.
